Our restaurant has an intense traditional character in which we serve traditional Cypriot food. Our menu fuses some of the old recipes with new modern twists which we like to change regularly.

Sympathetic Restoration

We have also taken great care to restore our restaurant sympathetically to its original design. On entering our main eating area you a transformed back in time. We have also decorated the rooms with old artefacts and photos from Kyperounda. Most of the photos that decorate the walls are from our family and village.

Kyperia restaurant is located high up in the mountains, in a village called Kyperounta. The restaurant is next to the community parking lot. We cook everything fresh here in the restaurant. Most of the ingredients we grow ourselves or they are sourced locally.

Our menu is seasonal and we offer genuine Cypriot food and snacks.
Opening time vary throughout the year. Follow our Facebook Page to know our exact opening times. We are usually open from Wednesday to Sunday afternoon.

Kyperounta is a village located high up in the Trodos mountains in the heart of Cyprus.

Kyperounta lies at an altitude of 1130–1300 meters and it is the third highest village in Cyprus. With a population of approximately 1,500 it can be called the head-village of Pitsilia.

Kyperounta took its name from a local plant Cyperus Rotundus.
